About Abhyudaya Co-operative Bank Ltd.

Abhyudaya Co-operative Bank Ltd. is a multi-state urban co-operative bank headquartered in Mumbai, India.

  • In 1964, a group of social workers and activists established a cooperative credit society with small share capital, which is where the bank got its start.
  • The organisation became a fully functional cooperative bank in June 1965.
  • The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) granted the bank “Scheduled Bank” status in 1988.
  • The Central Registrar, New Delhi, registered the bank as a “Multi-State Co-operative Bank” on January 11, 2007, enabling it to conduct business across state lines.

With a vast network of branches, Abhyudaya has expanded over the years to become one of India’s biggest urban cooperative banks, catering to thousands of clients in several states.

Retail banking, trade and forex services, mortgages, demat services, and online banking are just a few of the financial and banking services that the bank provides.

Our Network & Presence

  • Abhyudaya operates across three Indian states: Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka.
  • It maintains around 110–113 branches across these states.
  • In Maharashtra major coverage includes cities and regions like Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Nagpur, Nashik, Aurangabad, Raigad, Nanded, Nashik and more.
  • In Gujarat the bank has branches in cities such as Ahmedabad and Vadodara, among others.
  • In Karnataka the presence includes cities like Udupi and Mangalore among others, following a series of past acquisitions.

This widespread network ensures accessibility for customers across states, for both urban and semi-urban areas.
