Eligibility - Liberty Videocon Health Connect Basic Insurance Plan
- Minimum Age at Entry (Adult) - 18 Years
- Maximum Age at Entry (Adult) - 65 Years
(Children between 91 days and 25 years can be insured provided either parent is getting insured under the Policy.)

- Free Look Period: After purchasing the Policy, in case you find it unsuitable to your needs, you can, within a free look period of 15 days, request for cancellation of the Policy.
- Before and After: This mediclaim insurance covers not only the hospitalization in the event of an accident or sickness but extends to cover pre and post-hospitalization expenses, day-care procedures, domiciliary treatment, etc.
- Flexi Policy term: Option to choose policy term of 1 or 2 years for your medical insurance.
- Restoration of Sum Insured: In case of exhaustion of Sum Insured, be worry-free, as our Policy offers restoration of Sum Insured to take care of all your future claims (coverage as per the plan chosen).
- Assured renewal for life: There is no exit age restriction on renewal.
- Attractive renewal benefits: We reward you with a free health check- up after 2 years of continuous policy renewal with us irrespective of the claims made under the Policy.

Coverages - Liberty Videocon Health Connect Basic Insurance Plan
- Hospitalisation Expenses including Day Care treatment: In-patient hospitalization as well as treatment taken in a hospital for less than 24 hours would get covered under this cover.
- Pre- Hospitalization and Post- Hospitalization expenses:The expenses incurred before and after hospitalization upto the number of days as per your Plan gets covered under this.
- Domiciliary Hospitalisation Treatment: Home hospitalisation due to non- availability of hospital bed or because you are not in a condition to be moved to a hospital would get covered under this cover.
- Hospital daily Cash Allowance: Daily cash Per day of hospitalization max up to 10th day of continuous hospitalization is payable under this cover. A deductible of first 48 hours of hospitalization is applicable.
- Emergency Local Road Ambulance Charges: Ambulance expenses incurred while transferring the Insured to the nearest hospital would get covered upto the limits specified.
- Organ Donor Expenses: Organ donor’s screening charges & the medical expenses for an organ donor’s treatment for the harvesting of the organ gets covered under this cover.
- Second Opinion: Medical second opinion to augment confidence in the medical diagnosis and treatment plan is arranged through the expert doctors available on the panel.
- Recovery Benefit: A lump-sum of Rs. 10,000 payable in continuous hospitalization of more than 10 days.
- Nursing Allowance: Payment of INR 500/- as daily allowance up to 30 days per Policy period payable, towards engaging the services of a qualified nurse if such services are necessary either at the Hospital or at the Insured Person’s residence.
- Restoration of Basic Sum Insured: an amount equivalent to your Sum Insured is avilable on occurrence of another unrelated event for you on Individual as well as family floater basis. This is available for sickness as well accidents.
- Extended policy tenure: Extend your Policy without paying any additional premium if the you stay overseas for a continuous period of more than 15 days.
Renewal Policies - Liberty Videocon Health Connect Basic Insurance Plan
- Health Check Up: All insured who are above 18 years of age can avail a Free Health checkup after a block of 2 Renewals with Us. This is irrespective of the Claims History with us.
- Loyalty Perk:For every claim free year, auto increase in Sum Insured by 10% of the Sum insured up to maximum of 100%. The unused Loyalty Perk keeps on adding-up at renewals in case of claim in expiring policy year.
- Change in Plan /Enhancement of Sum Insured:Change in Plan /Enhancement of Sum Insured: You have the option to change your Plan and/or enhance the Sum Insured subject to approval by the Company.
