As an investor you are entitled to the following benefits:
Maturity Benefit: This is equal to the Fund Value. You can choose to receive the amount in one lump sum at the maturity or choose to avail structured payments using the settlement option.
Loyalty Additions: the loyalty addition is given at maturity. Loyalty addition of 0.5% of the average single premium fund value is provided only if the single premium is Rs.10 lakhs or more.
Death benefits: In case of unfortunate event which leads to the investor’s death, the death benefits are paid to the nominee. It is the higher amount of either the Single Premium Fund Value or the sum assured less partial withdrawals or 105% of the single premium paid.
MetLife Dhan Samriddhi plan allows you to grow your wealth for over 10 years, but if you want to withdraw the funds before the maturity, you can. You will be offered partial withdrawal option or the surrender benefits option. Under partial withdrawal option, a part of the money can be withdrawn after 5 years. You will be allowed to withdraw Rs.5,000 per withdrawal. But the balance should always be at least 110% of the single premium. If you wish to surrender, the fund will be transferred to Discontinued Fund. You will earn a minimum of 4% interest per annum. If the policy is surrendered after 5 years, the fund value will be immediately paid to you.

The charges on the premium paid are reasonable and PNB MetLife has managed to deliver consistent returns on the funds. The amount can be accessible after 5 years of the policy years. You will also be entitled to the Tax benefits applicable to you.
GST of 18% is applicable on life insurance effective from the 1st of July, 2017.
