Future Generali Future Hospicash (Hospital Cash) Insurance Plan - No one plans to get sick or hurt, but most people need medical care at some point. While your regular health insurance policy will pay for the hospitalisation expenses there are many incidental expenses which may not be covered.

Future Hospicash is a cover that provides cash benefit in case of hospitalisation to avoid drain in your savings.

Eligibility - Future Generali Future Hospicash (Hospital Cash) Insurance Plan

Entry Age

Adults

  • 18 to 65 years lifetime renewal option

Children

  • 6 to 25 years can be covered only if parents are insured with Future Generali

Maximum Sum Insured

Plan A and Plan B

  • Income criteria – Not applicable

Plan C

  • Monthly income above Rs. 50,000

Plan D

  • Monthly income above Rs. 75,000/

Pre Acceptance Medical Tests

Age up to 55 Years

  • Medical tests waived subject to no adverse health declaration on the proposal form.

Age Over 55 Years

  • Medical tests required for specific plans and 50% of the test charges are reimbursed, if you or family members are insured with us.

Medical Report Validity

  • 30 days from the day tests were done. Medical tests will be done in our empanelled diagnostic centre.

ICU Benefit Within the City of Residence

  • You will get twice of the per day benefit if you or your family member is hospitalised in an ICU within the city of your residence.

ICU Benefit Outside Your City of Residence:

  • You will get thrice of the per day benefit if you or your family member is hospitalised in an ICU outside the city of residence.

An Additional Convalescence Benefit

  • An additional convalescence benefit of Rs 5000 for hospitalisation of more than 10 days is also payable to you or your family member, once per hospitalisation event.

ICU Benefit:

  • ICU benefit is available for maximum period of 10 days for each hospitalisation and maximum 20 days during the policy period.
